About Us

WinnersVault UK is an independent comparison desk for UK-licensed casino sites — and an affiliate. Here is how both of those things work.

What we do

There are hundreds of casino sites licensed to operate in Great Britain, and from the outside most of them look identical: the same studios, similar libraries, a welcome offer with a big number on it. The differences that actually matter to a player are buried in terms pages — the wagering multiplier, the stake cap while a bonus is live, the pending period before a withdrawal is even processed, whether your bank’s payment method is supported at all.

WinnersVault UK reads that small print so you do not have to, and publishes a short ranked list instead of an encyclopaedia. The site is free, needs no account, and takes about a minute to use.

How we make money

We are an affiliate. When a reader follows one of our links and opens an account with an operator, that operator pays us — usually a share of its revenue from that player, sometimes a fixed fee per registration. That commission is the whole business model. You never pay anything, and the amount you deposit or lose does not change what you would have paid, because you pay nothing either way.

We say this on the front page, in our Terms & Conditions and here, because a comparison site that hides its funding is asking you to trust it on a false premise. Knowing how we are paid is what lets you judge the ranking properly.

What commission does and does not buy

It buys presence. Operators we have no commercial arrangement with generally do not appear, which is true of essentially every comparison site in this market and is worth knowing. Commercial terms can also affect placement among operators that already meet our standards.

What it does not buy:

  • A licence exemption. An operator without a current UK Gambling Commission licence is not listed, whatever it offers to pay. A site that loses its licence comes off the list straight away.
  • A rating. Scores come from the criteria below. An operator that pays well and performs badly gets a poor score and drops down the table.
  • Silence about a problem. Where an offer has an unusually harsh condition — a very high wagering multiplier, a tight expiry, a low stake cap — we say so.

The reasoning is commercial as much as ethical. A reader who follows a recommendation, has a bad experience and never comes back is worth less than one who trusts the list. Short-term placement fees are not worth that trade.

How we rank

  • Licensing — pass or fail. A current UKGC remote operating licence, checked on the public register, is a condition of entry.
  • Offer fairness. Wagering multiplier and what it applies to, maximum stake while a bonus is active, expiry window, game weighting, and whether the headline reflects what a normal player can realistically claim.
  • Withdrawal performance. How long a verified withdrawal actually takes, whether a pending period is applied, and how the operator handles verification.
  • Payments. Debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and bank transfer; whether withdrawals return to the same method without friction; any fees.
  • Games. Genuine range across slot volatility and live tables, stakes that start low as well as high, and a demo mode where the studio allows it.
  • Safer gambling. How easy the limit, time-out and self-exclusion tools are to find and use — two taps, not five screens.
  • Player feedback. Complaint patterns and forum reports, used as a tiebreaker rather than a headline. One angry review means little; fifty describing the same withdrawal delay means a lot.

We review the full table monthly and change it in between when something material shifts. The date above the ranking is the most recent full review.

What we are not

We are not a casino. We take no deposits, hold no player funds, run no games and accept no bets. We are not licensed by the Gambling Commission and do not claim to be — the licences belong to the operators we compare. If you have a problem with an account, a payment, a bonus or a withdrawal, it goes to that operator’s support team; we have no access to your account and cannot intervene. If the operator will not resolve it, you can escalate to its alternative dispute resolution provider, which every licensee is required to name.

Corrections

Offer terms change constantly and we get things wrong. If something here is out of date or inaccurate, email info@ukwinnersvault.com — we would much rather fix a stale figure than defend it, and we reply within one to two working days.

A word on the subject matter

Nothing on this site is encouragement to gamble, and gambling is not a way to make money. If you play, set a limit before you start and stop when you reach it. Our safer gambling page lists the tools and the free help available, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
